Stewart Devitt is a training professional specialising in the skills of communication and personal development. Building on a career involving self employment, partnerships, academia and practical senior management experience at a corporate level he is experienced in the analysis of training needs, the design, delivery and evaluation of training and personal development workshops, and in one to one and group facilitation. With well developed interPersonal skills he works successfully with both individuals and organisations at all levels within organisations to agree relevant development needs that support well formed objectives.

Personal Development

With a background in strategic and operational management he is qualified and competent in working with small and medium sized organisations in building their capacity and sustainability. He is experienced in supporting individuals in developing their skills using both the capability and competence approach.

Stewart has had practical experience in dealing with equality issues in a fast moving commercial environment and in the educational sector. With Professor Dory Reeves he carried out research for the Equality Commission of Northern Ireland on Evaluating the Effectiveness of Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998. Since 2014 he has been a Critical friend in mentoring and supporting the work of Auckland Resettled Community Coalition (ARCC)
